Q: How does Air Tan work? 
A: Think of a cut apple that goes brown when it is exposed to the air. The natural reaction that occurs in the apple is mimicked on the human skin with our product. Air Tan is a liquid sunless tanner that is sprayed on. Miami Breeze contains Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). When DHA reacts with the amino acids in the skin it initiates a natural tanning process. Miami Breeze darkens the skin without the risk of sun damage. The results are so natural that it is the preferred way of tanning.
Q: How long does it take to get an Air Tan?
A: An Air Tan takes approximately 15 minutes. That includes the actual application and changing time.
Q: Is Air Tan safe?
A: Absolutely! Air Tan International products are dermatologist recommended, ALL NATURAL and FDA approved!! Air Tan does not cause premature aging and is also safe for women who are pregnant. Miami Breeze solution contains organic DHA, which provides the richest looking tan without the sun.
Q: How long will my tan last?
A: This is one of our favorite questions. On average an Air Tan lasts 5-10 days, as your skin cells naturally exfoliate, your tan will gradually fade like a sun tan. Length also depends on your skin type and how well you take care of your skin. Results vary, but remember, you are in control.
Q: How often do I need to tan?
A: Depending on your skin type - usually every 10 days to 14. As your dead skin cells exfoliate your Air Tan fades like a tan from the sun or a tanning bed. The difference is, an Air Tan is only on the top layer of skin.
Q: How does an Air Tan smell?
A: While most sunless lotions smell very chemical-based, our product has no scent.
Q: How should I prepare for an Air tan?
A: Shower, exfoliate, and shave before your application. No lotion, make up or deodorant before your Air Tan application. Avoid wearing tight or silk clothing after your Air Tan.
Q: When will I see results from my Air Tan?
A: Immediately! It is instant gratification. The color you see being applied during the application is a bronzer, called a color guide. You will notice darkening 2 to 3 hours after the application and the color will continue to darken for the next 24 hours.
Q: Does the product contain any SPF or sunscreen?A: No, there is no protection from the sun.  Q: Can I go swimming with my Air Tan?
A: Yes! Don’t worry it will not come off in the pool but remember to swim only after you’ve rinsed off the color guide. Q: Are there any harmful effects from using this product?
A: Air Tan International has created an organically based self-tanning product which contains no harmful ingredients. If in the unlikely event you develop an allergic reaction to our product discontinue immediately and seek your doctor’s advice. Do not to apply onto broken or irritated skin. If in doubt – do a patch test and leave for 24 hours. Q: Is an Air Tan drying to the skin?A: No. Air Tan products contain botanically extracted ingredients that moisturize, hydrate and protect the body without clogging the pores or irritating sensitive skin, providing a safe barrier against drying elements.
Q: Does Air Tan International test on animals?A: Absolutely not! We are a company who are very conscientious about safety, health and environmental issues.
Q: Why is the solution in the bottle so brown?
A: Air Tan International has a chocolate color to aid application which gives an instant tan. When you wash the color guide off only your Air Tan will remain.
